PayNow payment checks
PayNow is a Singapore transfer method. Its presence in a payment list does not show that a gambling service is authorised or that it supports PayNow for your account.
Before a transfer
First establish whether the service may lawfully serve Singapore, then confirm that PayNow is listed in its verified cashier. Check the displayed recipient against the official instructions before approving a S$ amount.
- Do not use recipient details sent in an unsolicited chat.
- Read any reference format and transfer limit.
- Check whether withdrawals use a separate method.
If the balance does not update
Keep the bank confirmation and transaction reference. Check the operator’s stated posting time, then contact its official support; avoid sending full banking credentials or one-time codes.
A practical check
A displayed PayNow logo cannot identify the recipient. Compare the name shown in your banking app with the official instructions, including any transaction reference. If it differs, stop; do not send a small test transfer to an unverified recipient.
