Roulette rules
Roulette bets cover a number or a group of numbers. The wheel layout and the table’s settlement rules matter more than the colour of the interface.
Table layout
A single-zero and a double-zero wheel are different formats. Check which wheel is shown, where zero appears and whether any special rules apply before putting a chip on the layout.
- Inside bets cover specific numbers or small groups.
- Outside bets cover broader groups such as colour or odd and even.
- The chip value and table minimum affect the real S$ cost of a round.
Reading a result
Once betting closes, the winning pocket determines which bets settle. Review the table history only as a record of past rounds; earlier results do not predict the next spin.
A practical check
If the table says “European” or “American”, inspect the wheel itself for zero pockets. Also read any special zero rule rather than assuming the label tells the full story. Past-number panels are records, not signals to change a planned stake.
