How to read a slot paytable
A paytable explains how a slot calculates wins. Read it before a spin, especially when symbols, feature rounds or stake settings are unfamiliar.
Find the win rule
Some games count paylines, others count adjacent reels, matching clusters or a changing number of ways. The paytable should say where a combination must start and whether a symbol can substitute for another.
- Check the total S$ stake per spin.
- Find wild, scatter and bonus triggers.
- Confirm whether features are included at the selected stake.
Check the small print
A game may publish more than one configuration. If a displayed return figure or feature description seems inconsistent, use the rules attached to that exact game rather than a review of another version.
A practical check
Take one example combination from the paytable and trace how the game would count it: left to right, a cluster or another method. This reveals whether a near match is really a win and whether the selected stake activates the feature described.
