Payment fees and limits

A transfer can have operator limits, bank charges and currency conversion. Read all three before deciding what a S$ transaction will cost.

Compare the complete amount

Look at the amount you send, what is credited and what may be deducted on withdrawal. Minimums and maximums may differ by method or account status.

  • Check operator fees in the current cashier.
  • Check bank or wallet charges separately.
  • Avoid assuming that an advertised “free” deposit makes a withdrawal free.

Keep a simple record

Write down the S$ amount, method, date and reference for each transaction. This makes an unexpected difference easier to discuss with the correct support team.

A practical check

For a hypothetical S$100 transfer, compare the amount debited, the amount credited and any separate bank fee. On withdrawal, compare the approved amount with the amount received. This simple record exposes where a charge or conversion occurred.
